When I was a little girl I grew up on a farm just outside of Dallas, TX. We left that life for the city when I was in my early teens. However, when I was diagnosed with the hormonal imbalance condition PCOS in my mid-twenties I started living closer to the ground again. My skin cleared up, I lost weight, and my menstrual cycle regulated (finally)! Whether or not you have a condition that forces you to shift your way of living, I encourage you to start a plant-based lifestyle.

As a culture we have an unhealthy dependency on pharmaceuticals to treat disease and maintain health. This trend is largely ineffective, dangerous, and unnecessary. Evidence-based research shows that plants have countless phytochemical properties to prevent illness, reverse diseases, and support overall better health. Think about it…your daily nourishment is in the ground and not a bottle.
